    I need help im skinny

I 've been liftin weights for a while with no results. Its because im inconsistent i think. I work out hard for like a month then take a week or two off just cuz i get sick of it.

Can someone give me a program that will help me get bigger quicker. I wanna use some prohormones or something that makes lifting weights fun. Where i see the results quicker. I also need a diet something cheap and basic. As well as a lifting schedule.

    anybody gott ideas

    i really appreciate it thanks

first of all, you need to be consistant. 3x a week for 45 minutes each time is really a must. set aside a time of day to do this. lifting weights is not about lifting hard for a week then not lifting, nobody gets anywhere without sticking to it. search the forums for a plan and stick to it. if youre too skinny, just eat a lot of protein when possible, about every 3 hours. you have to be rigid about eating often if you wanna get results. try reading some info on these boards, theres a lot of good stuff here.

Can you post what you've been doing in your workouts...bodyparts,sets, reps, etc...

Are you training to failure each set or are the exercises easy to do?

Consistency is key for making any progress you need to formulate a plan and stick to it.

NO!!! Absolutely NOT!!! You will not get bigger quicker. Bodybuilding is a loooooooong process and if you don't go into it withe right attitude you'll never see any results. You might as well use your time and money elsewhere because you're wasting both if you aren't in this for the long haul.

Another mistake and waste of money. prohormones, or any other supps for that matter, will NOT make weight lifting more fun. Weight lifting is work, it's damn hard work. If you don't go into it with the attitude that you're going to work your butt of to reach your goals there's no suppliment in the world that will make it fun.

Originally posted by justin81 I also need a diet something cheap and basic.
One last mistake, you mention pro-hormones which are DAMN expensive but you want to skimp on your diet? Absolutely NOT! Your diet is the most important part of your weight gaining program. If you skimp on your diet you've lost before you've even started. Forget the pro-hormones and spend the extra money on good solid food and a good protein suppliment.

Now, I've been pretty hard on you so far but it's only because you need to adjust your attitude toward weight lifting and weight gain. Again, if you go into this with the wrong attitude you're just wasting your time.

P.S. Build your workout program around the BIG FOUR: Squats, Deadlifts, some sort of bench press type movement and, some sort of rowing type movement. These four compound movements are the best for packing on solid mass. (But they won't do it over night. )

At 6' 2" you need to eat a ton. I'm 6' 2" and I was 160 7 years ago. If you really eat, your lifts will go up often and it will be fun for that reason. Tall, skinny guys have to eat an obscene amount of (good) food (plenty of protein) in the early years.

I may get flamed for this but I'd say a VERY high carb meal an hour or so before your workout. Carbs are where your body derives it's energy from so you want to load up with them before working out. This practice is very common among endurance athletes who pig out on pasta and salads the night before a race. A very important thing to remember though is to follow your workout with a very high protein meal. Carbs provide greater energy DURING your workout, protein provides greater muscle building AFTER your workout.

Exactly, It is so hard to be tall

    First steps for you:
    1. Try to figure out a diet and post in the diet forum for us to evaluate that.
    2. Do the same thing with the training.
Good luck, you will see a lot of improvements in the first months.
