I have been trying to stick to cross-trainers. They are little more durable to running shoes and provide more support. My last pair of sneakers was a pair of New Balance trail runners though. (Got a good deal on them).
It helps if you have a friend that manages a Foot Locker and hooks you up. ![]() |

I bought a pair of hard leather tennis shoes from the Nike outlet store for $20. Was gonna use it for tennis, but the hard leather was too stiff for mobility on the court. However, my lost on the tennis court was my gain in the gym. The stiff tennis shoes give me great support for weight training. Not bad for $20.

New ballance here, runners, they seem to have more flex in them, good for calf work.

What ever is most comfortable and supportive for you.
I where AND1 laceless for weight training and indoor cardio. But if I was running outside, I would where a shoe that had more cushion. And a shoe that had more support for squats |
