So Here is some Bodybuilding Drama I started! Post #116

Subject: that bitch! She uses the Juice!

You know how awhile ago I posted something about Gina Davis's yahoo
group? Well I found out that she is NOT natural! I thought she was.
I just can't stand people who get on here and say that they're
totally Natural when they're not. I totally hate that!
Don't get me wrong, it is a person's personal desicion to use
steroids. But I just don't beleive that God would want us to put
    anything UNnatural in our bodies.
So after coming through what I have been through, and seeing the
other patients conditions and hearing their stories, I really want
to come back and be the best that I can be, personally. I don't care
about winning or any of the Bodybuilding Politics.
........Now I do think that it is so "kick ass":P when a Natural
person can beat a person on juice. Just shows you how blessed the
    natural person with good genetics!

posted this in my group, we'll see if she responds, if she does it really shows how insecure she is! i posted in my group and hers that i was excited that she had a group too, i spoke to her one day along time ago on yahoo pm, and she swore she was natural!
i dont care! im confident...now. i heard that shes really insecure and bitchy2.

I find it hard to believe that you don't ingest anything that is unnatural.

We all put tons of artificial crap in our bodies, and we cant even help it. Its on our food, in the air, its everywhere. However, I can understand her point about God, but to the extent that maybe you wouldnt do steroids because you feel if God wanted you that big, he would have given you that much testosterone naturally or the simple fact that they are illegal. Thats much more logical IMO.

That "If God..." statement can be used for any ridiculous thing. If God wanted you to be clothed you would be born with clothes on, for one example.

Not ripping on ya chiquita, just letting you know that unless you eat farm fresh everything, chances are you are getting unnatural things. I think the best reason for not doing roids is that you just don't want to.

You are right that if you are doing the stuff you should admit it. Although you are wrong, there is no way a natural person will beat a juiced up person in a contest judged on the current critieria. Sad but true.

What is the whole story anyway, Chiquita. Have you been injured or something?

I think what you are doing is great and yes, I did not know. You want to achieve this goal of yours all on your own and I hope you do. I have no idea who Gina Davis is and if she is doing juice she should admit to it, but she is also admitting to doing something illegal if she does. But I also have to say that the people who win contests don't sit around their house and inject steroids, they work their asses off. I wasn't trying to be harsh, I guess it comes over that way thru the internet. I am just saying the god thing is flimsy. I bet if you were having a baby and that baby needed a shot of something "unnatural" to live you would not hesitate to consent to the shot.

I got nothin but uv fur ya baby.

I was referring to immediately after the pregnancy for the baby. Althoug the pain of delivery is pretty bad too. You should see some of the pain those (pregnant) women put themselves through. I have seen some of the worst things you could imagine.

Chiquita, I'm with you hon, I try to be as natty (natural) as possible! My husband does too and we both been lifting for awhile now. I don't want to compete, I lift for the sheer joy of lifting. I admire your goals and can't wait to see what you can
    accomplish!

I think a person's choice to play in the Chemistry set should be their OWN personal decision. Gina Davis is from the Houston area, I have met her on several occasions. She is a very nice person regardless of what her choice is to use when she competes. When you get to a national level and pro level, beyond the regional contests, the majority (notice I said majority) will be on something, be it the bbers, fitness or figure comp. It's just a fact as how things are being done. If your not on something, you have to go at things twice as hard to beat them. To me, it is a personal choice and I don't knock those that choose to go that route.

Oh...if you want Gina to responde...try posting your comment about her choice to use over on Musclemayhem. She's there alot. Just be prepared to have an umbrella handy as you will get balsted for those comments there.

And what is the point of trying to start useless drama?

    that is absolutely absurd.

i'll go right ahead and say that test is in the same category as whey protein and creatine.

I'll have to go negative on this one. Test is not in the food supply whereas whey protein and creatine are. Neither is natural in it's isloated form, I guess that may be where you were going with that one.

i wish you the very best in achieving your goals.

but i have to say i don't really agree with you on this. not sure what your purpose is in trying to "stir the pot" so to speak.

i also don't really like the way "natural" competitors like to bash those that choose to use like they are morally superior. i've yet to see any pros (or amateurs for that matter) who DO use bash on the athletes who chose to remain "natural"

what ever happened to live and let live? just my opinion.

    yea yea yea

well.........i just didnt think it thru be4 i posted this. and im young (20y/o) + ive been thru something traumatic (fyi~people w brain damage do/say inapropriate things @times. beleive me i could say some stories where ive done MANY inapropriate things, it makes me feel really stupid, and i might get depressed, but people that know me/been around me long enough so i can make a good impression, they just brush it off)
i went back to my group and deleted that message, (i can do that since im the owner) and even tho i was told how i could make it 2 where shed respond, i do realize what i did/said is pretty lameo now.
and it is a persons choice to do steriods if winning is that important to them. and i now realize the thing about cycles, they arent always 'drugged/pumped-up', or whatever. but the truth is..........i am no better than her bc im natural. im no better than any1. what i said was very childish and i feel bad now 4what i did

ahhh - don't feel bad. you made it right by deleting it and it sounds like you just really opened up your thinking. that's something many people won't do (young or old, brain injury or not)

    you did great!

think of it like this. we all have the option of using enhancers or not. if the person over there uses them and looks great....don't be angry b/c they decided to take on the risks that come along with the benefits. each one of us can do the same (or not)

don't be so hard on yourself though. i can tell you're a great lady!

Agreed, I dont think the line between natural and not is so black and white, especially since testosterone is found in nature just as is creatine.

Some people believed that we should suffer during our life for God, people would shove maggots and flys into their wounds (maggots will only eat dead flesh). So I can see that some people would still want us to be natural, living out in the sticks, not owning these fancy pants computers and things like that - but then why are you here? This isn't natural, this is a man made universe we call the Internet, God did not create it.

Do you really think everyone should come out and say they use steroids? That is assinine, it would be nice if they could be honest without persecution but they cannot.

    'cause it's a felony.

ALSO some worry about uninformed copycats and setting a "bad example". they don't want to say i take this amount of this drug for fear that a fan or a newbie will run out and do the same exact thing thinking they'll get the same results. (sort of like a lot of us copied the pro routines as printed in the magazines when we first started training)

They are illegal...I mean do you really think they will go up to a complete stranger and say, "hey, look how huge I am, I use gear"? It's a private thing to them to share that type of information. It isn't something they will just go and advertise to everyone.

Yeah, I dont like dishonesty but what other choice does one have. Its not like saying "yeah ok, I have a martini once in awhile" its like saying "yeah I smoke crack you got me officer."

It is a way of opening a door to allow people who may not like you, to get you in some serious trouble. Milos Sarcev, a former competitor and now trainer/coach had his house raided not that long ago and he is now involved in the Balco court case because he was building routines for some of the top Balco clients. His house thankfully was clean, but its like a witch hunt and nobody really I hope wants to go through that.

In Canada they somewhat turn their head the other way, they are "decriminalized" basically meaning the law doesn't want to waste resources chasing down a handfull of users who are not harming society. You can't buy or sell legally, but if you are caught with a personal amount in the home they dont care.

In the US we dont have this luxury of choice, it is known to be illegal and certainly reminded to us with all the media attention right now. A few people are somewhat open about their use but are asking for trouble. There have been high and low profile busts of late, from the pros down to people on the message boards and some people we would never hear about. A moderator on another board is looking at 2 years Federal, and likely has no chance of getting out as he was caught with a large amount from an overseas shipment.

Some pros have openly joked about how fake those routines are, they are ghost written most if not all of the time. I read those magazines myself as a youngster up until probably 98 or 99.

I can think of Lee Priest and Troy Zuccolotto off the top of my head.
