    Lightbulb Training Program...

I don't know if you have heard about this or talked about it (I am hardly ever on here!)
When I was in the Vitamin store Friday, the guy started telling me about the Scott Connelly (spelling?) plan. He is the brains behind MetRX and he came out with a book... I think there is 4 cycles... each lasting 6 weeks. He goes in to depth about how strength training is better for burning fat than cardio. When you lift weights your body continues to burn the fat after that, but when you do cardio, it is over as soon as you are done. It sounded cool and you could try it out for 30 days (for FREE!) but I was afraid that it would get ruined..so I didn't get it, but I might go back in to check it out. I hope I got this info right!

What Scott Connely says is true. Weight training will have a much longer metabolic enhancing effect than cardio. If you only had the choice to do one or the other oyu should do weight training. However, I still believe that cardio has it's place in all training programs, and should be performed at least 3 times per week depending on your goals.
