Question HIT Program

What do you guys think about it?
Anyone every try it and really stick with it for awhile?
If so how did it work?
Are there warm up sets before each work set or only the first?
How much rest between each set?
How often?

I've never tried it, but I think I remember reading that Dorian Yates used that pogram.

HIT is a good workout program, especially if you've been following a high volume approach for a while. It is brief and intense and will spur on new growth if done correctly. However, like all programs, once your body adapts you must move on. Try it out for about 2 months, than switch back to more traditional methods.

Generally rest periods are 2-3 minutes and warmups are performed before the first movement, but usually none after that. I still recommend at least one warmup on each new movement.

Dorian did use his own form of HIT training....he did not follow traditional HIT to a tee, but he did use a very low set, high intensity approach.
