Weight Training on a cut...
Hi guys. I'll get right to the point here...
how do you get stay strong while on a cut? I need to lose about 14lbs over a span of 2 months. Thus my calories wont be extremely low... so losing strength bcos of too little cals wouldnt happen(i hope) How should i train to maintain my strength and explosiveness? I dont want my vert or dash to drop...Im proud of them. Shld i lift explosively with lowreps(4-5)/high intensity or lift explosively with modreps(8-10)/mod intensity or mix them up together? (i know high reps/low intensity are out of the question to maintain my strength) I need to get ready for a short season in june... thx in advance for your help |

Keep protein intake high and continue lifting heavy, but either way it's inevitable that you will lose some strength.

Didn't your season start? You are training with that much volume in season?
