ive not bin able to run on the tredmill at gym for some time due to injuries to the knee....

over the easter ive hardly bin able to get to gym so i just did a few excercises from home with my Db's...

so im doing my Bi curls.. last set.... and i hurt my f**king back...
just below the right shoulder blade..

it just happens that i was going to start school on monday which ment going the the gym properlly again..

so just as my knee heals i go f**k up another part of my body..

muscle strains to my back usually recover quickly. Hottubbing and those thermacare wraps seem to speed the process.

You should look into some Vastus medialis strengthening for your knee and stay off treadmills.

If this "injury" to your back is the same as what I'm suffering right now you should be good to go in three or four days. I strained a muscle in my mid back doing squats the other day it it's really a matter of getting the muscle to relax enough to stop the spasms.n Some Ibuprophin, heat and rest should take care of the problem. I would STRONGLY encourage you to get back into the weights sloooooooowly when you do go back. That will help ensure you don't re-injure your back.
Rules? You mean we have RULES for that???

I've found taking 2 naproxen sodium tablets (Aleve) helps a ton.

Also, warm up before you tackle the weights.

Good preparation is the key to staying injury free for me, a good warm up and stretch before the workout and warm down and stretch after the workout.
    Will start journal soon.

    Gallery pics on the way.

    Soon to be elite member.

    Best wishes
