Just recently had reconstructive knee surgey back in Dec. Still not 100% but strength is definately coming back. I've had to take out Squating out of my routine instead I'm doing Power Cleans at medium weight of 185lbs. Is this a good replacement or not for squat? If not can anyone tell me what would be a next best thing beside Squating to help me pack on mass to my legs so that I don't get the Chicken legs syndrome.

Seek advice from a physical therapist. They have the answer for you. I would hate to see you take advice from someone here then screw up your knee again.

I agree.
Off hand, I would just do anything that requires no knee work, like seated leg extensions and hamstring curls, which are usually what PT put clients through because the ROM is safe, but DO NOT quote me on that. |
