When ever you can get in there and lift. Which ever time of the day is best for you do it, just lift hard and heavy. EAT EAT EAT and eat some more to get them muskles bigger. Make sure you get your rest and your fine.

Maybe there is a certain time that is better, but it's a personal preference thing for me. I like doing it in the evening because I am not a morning person. Even if there is a physiological reason that lifting is beneficial early, I just couldn't mentally be there like I can in the evening which would definitely negate any benefit of doing it in the morning.



The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

since i work second shift at work (2-10:30pm) i go sat. morning that way i have the rest of sat. all day sun. and mon. till i leave for work to recover. plus like deadbolt said EAT. and don't forget to take some glutamine to replenish your body cuz you lose a crap load from your body during heavy lifting days. any glutamine item you pick up will tell you to 5g a day but since you lose almost half you can take 10g a day. and your best time to take it is before a meal and right before bed. so take 5g before dinner adn the other 5g before bed.



Every time I step into the gym I know I'll walk out a little stronger.

I think its more then preferance. Different people have different high energy times of the day. I work midnights , which means I have NO high energy times. That is until I start attacking the iron. I remember working days and haveing to get up at 0400 to get my workout in. Now that was murder, I'd rather work mids.........take care................Rich

i workout in the AM around b/t 9-10! ... one day i HAD to workout at like 7 o'clock pm because i had stuff to do all day starting at 11 AM (i ususally dont get up til about 9:30) and it takes me forever to take a shower get dressed, do my hair etc..etc..! well i had NO ENERGY at the 7 pm workout! i got in the room n could barely lift a damn thing ... it was a back/tricep day too! man i BSed everything ... i didnt feel like changing the plates or nething .. i think it took me about 2 hrs to get everything done, once i got around to changing the plates n actually lifting the weights! when i workout in the morning i have energy for the rest of the day! ... when school starts up again tho i'ma hafta adjust that, which will be hell
