Question how much is too much?

Im high school student who plays soccer, wrestles, and runs track. I try to go to the gym as much as I can. But I dont wanna get burn't out. How do ya know when you've had enough? Because i hear how bad over training is and i try to be careful ... but sometimes i just feel that im being a wimp and stop to soon ... when i really haven't worked out hard enough.

thanx for the help...

My first sign is when I have no desire to work-out.

You should always train the least possible amount, while still achieving your desired results.
