    opinion for my routine

    I 25 and in search of a routine that will get me lean and cut. I weight 220 and trying to get to 190-200 lbs. I have been working on a routine for a while tell me what you think.

    Mon- back and bi

    wide grip pulldown 3 set 12/10/8
    db row 3 sets same rep scheme for all
    seated row 3 sets
    back extension
    close grip pulldown
    preacher curl
    ez bar curl
    hammer curl

    wed-chest and tri
    incline press
    flat press
    cable crossover
    db flyes
    tri extension
    skull crusher
    reverse grip extension

    fri-legs and shoulder
    machine press
    lateral raise
    front raise
    rear db raise
    squats
    leg extension
    hamstring curl
    calves

    On tues and thurs I will do 30 min cardio. Also on mon and fri abs.
    3 sets of each workout and a 12,10,8 scheme.
    I open to suggestion. remember just trying to bcome lean and cut.

    The 8-12 rep range is going to add mass to you. Don't worry though, muscle mass looks better than fat. In addition, that extra muscle mass will boost your metabolism constantly throughout the day and will make cutting the fat easier.

    Diet is the #1 thing to consider when trying to cut. You have to decrease your caloric intake, plain and simple. Granted, increasing your caloric usage will help too, but diet is still the most important factor in cutting fat. Check out the diet & nutrition section of these forums for some good information, in particular the sticky threads at the top of the list.
    The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

    IMO...you need to do a lot more for legs
    I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.
