Pecs or breasts?
I m currently splitting up my workouts... I used to go for mass, but am now trying to cut up. My lower chest has started to go soft, infact i have always been like this. I was hugely overwieght as a child and have lost a lot of that..but its almost as if my skin has never really gone back to normal after being stretched out so much.. this means i have a few undesired deposits i am trying to burn away (on the chest and lower, side abs)
I do 10 mins cardio to warm up 1 hour of weights (free + machine) then 20 mins cardio at the end. anyone got any excercises to help firm up the lower chest ( i do dips, and cable crossover and decline bench, but nothing seems to work) Currently taking hydroxycut and Norateen Heavywieght 2 with a 100% Whey protein powder (40g a serving apparently) Any tips ... i know i am askign the world (still wanna build mass and cut up at same time...is this possible or do i have to sacrifice one for the other?) |

Well its very hard to actually build mass while losing body fat. But it is possible to maintain the muscle mass you have or keep the measurements on your chest and biceps while losing body fat all over. So its kind of like replacing muscle for fat, but obviously the fat doesnt turn into muscle or anything. Your workout seems fine, depending on your diet you should be able to fill out that skin eventually, just keep it up.

If you want to get more cut up then you have to either do more or eat less. You have to be taking less calories in then you are using in order to lose that fat. Unfortunately, it is hard to gain muscle mass without gaining some fat.

Since fat does not turn into muscle, you can't really do an excersize to directly remove it. Fat comes off as the body decides it wants it to come off.
For the most part I would say do one or the other, results are better. If you are brand spanking new, or gifted + know diet ins and outs well, then you could try for both. I myself do one or the other, I dont feel I have the genetics, nor the super hardcore diet regimine to make it happen doing both VERY well at the same time. |
