    Advice on my workout

    Hi,

I would appreciate if you guys could give me your input on my workout schedule. I work 9 -6 pm and so the only time I can workout is in the evenings. I do my workouts at home using only dumb bells due to lack of space for barbells and other machines. I am 6 ft and weigh 70 kgs.

    Squats
    Pushups as warmups
    Dumbell presses
    Dumbell flyes
    One arm dumbell rows
    Dumbells curls
One arm triceps extensions (behind the neck)
    Wrist curls

All the above exercises are done with 3 sets of 10-12 reps. I exercise thrice a week. I assume these are all compound exercises and this is the minimum that I can spare time for as I would like to build mass.

Your comments and advice if any will be appreciated.

    Thanks

I wouldn't worry too much about your arms. They will get a lot of indirect work via compound exercises, and will usually grow pretty good in a workout routine like this. Try something like Romanian deadlifts to hit your hamstrings more. Do more back work too; maybe some bent-over rows. Also, dumbell flys are not very compound. I would trying doing some incline/decline dumbell presses or something of the sort instead. Oh yeah, and get a pullup bar. They are cheap but extremely effective.

    Thanks Cowpimp,

Would pullovers instead of dumbell flyes be a better exercise? Since I'm already doing squats will deadlifts for hamstrings be useful too?
