    Bruise-like pain/feeling

Hey u all. Im 90% back from my minor shoudler injury. When i do chest exercises..im fine until about 2 hours AFTER my workout. About 2 hourws after my workout...there is a pain on my lateral deltoid...the pain is like if i had a bruise on my lateral deltoid and someone was constantly pressing on the "bruise" my doctor said that was normal and it will go away after i slowly increase weights and slowly strengthen my muscles. Is he right? Plus, what is this bruise-like pain? is it the last bit of inflammation that is about to heal?
Good, bad, im the guy with the gun-Army of Darkness

Pain means that something is not right. IMO you should stay a few more weeks away from weight training.
    Your body is still healing.

bruise-like pain....? I know if i do chest, it will be so sore the next day that if i rub it... it feels like it's bruised. IMO it shoukd be the same thing... your doctor's given the permission anyway... little chance that he'll be wrong anyway.
If it bothers you too much... drop the weights and get your ice
