    Question Personal Trainer??

Hey everyone! I have a quick question. I'm at a plataue and I was wondering if a personal trainer would help?

The first session would be all about getting me measured & set out a food plan.
The second session would be a workout plan.

    What do ya'll think?

i think you can find a lot of great tips searching around here. if you need that kick in the ass of someone telling you what to do then, yes, spend money on a PT. if you are more of a self motivated person read some of the diet and training stickies and go from there. when specific questions pop up post it here and i bet you get some quick replies.

I don't know where you train at but 90% of the PT's I've come across in Vegas don't know jack...you can find some ex-Pro BB'ers at some of the Gold's but besides that I don't know what to tell you.

My goal for now is to lose about 10-20 more pounds. I have to lose 10 at least by Sept.
I'm going to try to chg up my workout routine & my eating habbits & see if that works.

I've went to the Gold's gym a long time ago & they had HUGE men there. I was like WOW!!

But the PT at my gym aren't all that but to just see what they suggest??

what does the current training program look like? also, post your diet in the diet & nutrition section and i'm sure you can have it critiqued. like LAM said its all diet and then some. adding some cardio can help accelerate the weight loss you are going for.

and back to the PT thing...you can get plenty of "suggestions" here. you admitted that they aren't "all that". so why would you want to train with them.
