Superset = 1 set of a movement immediatly followed by another movement that hits the same muscle group. Example - 10 reps of Bench then 10 reps of cablecross right after bench.

Drop Sets - Dropping the weight so you can continue a set to failure. Curls with 40's to failure, curls with 30's to failure, curls with 20's to failure, etc, etc.

There's are good to up the intensity + promote muscle growth.
    These are my favorite faces : - - -

    Personal Bests:

    Bench - 235
    Deadlift - 315 X 17
    Squat - 315 X 11
    40 yrd. - 4.65

ok so for supersets, if I do a 1 x 8-10, that means i do 8-10 bench then straight into 8-10 cabblecross? So total for that combination, i'd do like ~20 reps foro that set? Also, what is the rest time for supersets? What is the rest time for dropsets?

The rest time is, respectively, "none" and "none". Ideally, you have everything set up for your superset and zip right from one exercise to the other. (Optionally, you may choose to catch your breath between supersets for more or less time.)

For drops, likewise. Best case, you have an assistant for drops, or use a machine where you can reach the pins/weights easily from workout position, so as soon as you fail, you drop the weight by an increment, crank out more reps to failure, and drop again for the prescribed number of rounds.

Then you stagger off and shake the life back into your aching whatever.

    akateros,

Thanks, but is the example i gave above on supersets correct? From what I understand, no rest all all during reps right?

Donīt forget to stretch right after it and breath properly during and after the workout.
