    quick chest question

i have been reading the forums for a while but this is my first post. I am wondering what would be a good exercise to make your chest grow towards the center of your body over the sternum. It seems like the outside of my chest is growing at a faster pace than the inside. I have been lifting about a year now 5 days a week getting good results other than this.
    thanks for the help.

This has been debated to death here. Most will tell you that you cannot "shape" the muscle. Others will say you can. Science suggests that it is genetic and you can only make the muscle grow. Again, this has been debated to death and many will disagree.

Just keep building up your chest. Eventually it will probably fill in, at least somewhat. Some good chest exercises:

Incline, decline, and flat benchpress. Alternate between dumbell and barbell.

    Incline, decline, and flat flys.

    Dips.

yeah i have been mixing up my exercises lately to try and shock myself into growing more i have been doing flies, incline, decline mostly with dumbell but have started to throw in alot of barbell. I am workin it twice a week pretty heavy does twice a week sound like im overdoing it. I seem to be recovering well so i wouldnt think so.
