Its quite obvious from your weight and measurements that you are a true ectomorph. You could indeed pack on some muscle as for your height especially you dont carry a lot. Im 1/2 inch taller and 140lbs. 11%. and Im not big at all.

At your age I would really concentrate on your added potential to pack on lean mass.

"Good" for what? You'd make a great fitness model by the look of it, for instance. It all depends what you're after.

If you are still contemplating bodybuilding, here is a rough guide to proportions that someone sent me:
    Take these measurements:
    neck
shoulders (round the widest part of the muscle)
right quad just beneath the butt
    left quad likewise
    right arm, left arm, flexed
    waist at largest point
    right calf, left calf
    chest

All measurements should be the same, left and right (e.g. arms and legs).

Neck, biceps and calves should all be about the same. Calves may be bigger, but should not be smaller.

The measurement of one quad should be approximately the same as your waist.

Measurement around your shoulders should be about double your waist.

In "real life" of course many of these things are more or less crap, depending on a person's bone proportions and style of presentation (which can hide a multitude of sins) but it's a starting point.

Hey Jaim, let me say this. I don't understand why you would ask this question. If you really want to have some contructive criticism then post pics, there is no way really for us to get a proper idea of what your physique looks like without a visual. measurements can be very misleading. two people can have 17" arms and look completely different, ya feel me? The reason I say all this is b/c I believe that it is YOU that needs to decide for yourself if you are doing all you can to accomplish your goals and THAT is what is good. Who are you lookin to compare yourself to? The act of comparing yourself to others is setting yourself up for failure mentally. This is an individual sport and if you can look at yourself in the mirror and say to yourself that you ARE doing the work, that is the most important thing. Alot of times at a young age, people get discouraged b/c gains are not easy to come by and they give up, you have to build a foundation first and it takes lots time time and lots of sweat. If you can get in the habit of not comparing yourself to others, and instead judging your success on the mental growth you achieve and not what you see in front of you then you are doing fine girl. I hope that helps you. Its going to be a long time before you achieve the body you want to have. Don't let that discourage you, let that motivate you and don't base your success so far on how far away from that body you are, base it on how hard you are working towards that goal. Good luck girl. keep doing tha damm thang!

    Thanks gr...that was really...heartfelt.

It's just that I have this thing where I can't see what's actually there in the mirror. So on any given day I can preceive myself to be either more muscular or a lot thinner than I actually am. I need the figures because that is the only raw data I have on myself. I figure if I can just find someone with the same relative stats as me, I can actually know what I look like.

Lam - lol..my abs are...pretty good. I follow a 3 day a week plan I found in a muscle magazine in an article by Timea Majorova (I think that's her last name).

    well said gr81

Jaim, many people, myself included, sometimes percieve ourselves differently then what we really are. I too sometimes feel "small", other times, "huge" its all mind games and you have to come to peace with your body and decide what it is that YOU really want to do with it. the body is a wonderous thing. Dont try to live to some calculations standards on what is the "ideal" body. EVERYONE is different! if we were all the same, the world would be a pretty boring place!

so you have to ask yourself- what is it that YOU want to do with yourself, or body. bodybuilding? figure? fitness? strength lifting? or just overall health benfits from lifting.
After you assess then, then you can make changes where needed to compromise your goals!

Fitting into standard sample-size clothing (which your measurements indicate you would) while also looking fit and muscular (which at 10% BF you should -- lots of fashion models are thin, but flabby). If you are photogenic, it's a thought.

And gr81 is right; even measurements are not objective, and the only way to get an opinion is to post pictures. I don't think anyone here would bite you, and you could edit out your head if you're feeling cautious. No one can tell from measurements, how they are actually assembled. Just as I can say you'll fit into a sample size, but I can't say if you actually have that magic facial geometry that says "perfect" to a camera (sometimes it isn't even the girl who's prettiest in person, either).

my pleasure girl. I can't tell you how awesome it is that you are into weight training Jaim, most women out there are cardio bunnies and that is just ridiculously unproductive. Look at it that way, you are already way ahead of the pack at only 16 and you don't operate off so many stupid stigmas that our society perpetuates about women and weight training. I swear to gawd if I hear one more women say "well I would lift weights but.. I just don't wanna get big"!!! Look biatch, I have dedicated my whole life to getting freakishly big and look where I am at now, what in the hell makes you think that you are just gonna blow after touching a dumbell seeing as how you have 1/8th the test level of me?!
sorry for ranting. Hey we have all been there. In some mirrors I think I am lookin good and others I feel hella small, its part of the mindstate that comes along with constantly thinking about perfection. Trust me, you are ahead of most people and you started at a great age, by the time you are 21-22 you will be lookin fabulous and be so proud of your accomplichments. Give it time sweetie and in the mean time bust your fuccin ass in the gym, let that sweat drip and get intense. I am shutting up now, I have a tendency to ramble sometimes! lol don't be afraid to ask questions also
