How probable does this sound

So im talkin to this guy the other day and he tells me he could hit 275 one time on bench about 8 months ago before he quit working out

yes i know what your thinking 275 not that unreasonalble heavy but not unbelievably heavy

well heres when it gets a little hard to belive this guy is 20 5'3 yes i said 5'3 and weighs in at a whopping 125 lbs and also dosent belive in even taking protein because for some reason he thinks its unnatural

so you guys tell me what you think is he lying or tellin the truth,

o yeah he also said he could incline the 85lb dumbells but only millatary the 60lb dumbells pretty big difference cause incline hits the front delt fairly hard but i would say at most there should only be a 10lb difference on dumbells anyways tell me what u think cause i think hes talking out his ass

it is possible, not likely but possible. but then who really cares. it's never about how much anyone can do compared to someone else. your only competitor is yourself, and trying to outdo what you did last week. i hear guys like this all the time, talking up how much they can lift. i just smile, nod, and look around to see if there's some hot girl i'd rather be talking to than this douche.

It's possible. The fact that he is 5'3" means that bench pressing comes much easier to him. He doesn't have to go through nearly the range of motion as someone significantly taller. That doesn't mean he isn't BSing; I just think it's a definite possibility.

Also, the difference between what I can incline press and military press is huge. It really depends what angle he uses. When I do incline press I never exceed a 30 degree angle in order to keep chest activation pretty high.

Its possible. How old is he? Here are some highschool PL records: http://www.adfpa.com/records/nationa...highschool.htm If he is younger, then tell hm to compete. He could be a national champion.

Did he bench that shirted?

It's possible. Is the kid a jackass? Because this one kid told me he could lift 250 and I threw 135 on the bar so he could warm up and it smashed him ; some people without much experience dont really relise how heavy shit is.

These are my favorite faces : - - -

Personal Bests:

Bench - 235
Deadlift - 315 X 17
Squat - 315 X 11
40 yrd. - 4.65

I say who cares what a person can bench, I don't even know what I can throw up one time, I just go by the feel of the weight. He could put that much weight up, but then again he can't. All you can do it tell his ass to prove it lol

Never say you can't do something.

I would like to see the guys form when he trains. if it is anything close to the knowledge that he posses about nutrition (if he thinks protein powders are unatural) it's probably crap...
