I read that taking a week or 2 off per year is a good thing. Obviously stay clean with your diet but give the weights a rest. When you get back from vacation your muscles will get a good shock plus you will be pumped and ready to hit it again after taking a break.

vacation is a vacation. don't think about work, don't think about the gym. eat clean when you can, but don't worry about indulging a few times. it's only 2 weeks, you can recover from this very quickly, and as bp mentioned, it might actually be a good thing.... physically and mentally.

all I do is watch my carb intake on vacation. besides that enjoy yourself !
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

What if you enjoy the gym like I do? lol

But seriously just take a week or 2 off. If you need to workout do like pushups, situps, and pull ups. Just something to get your body working. Swimming, playing sports all works to. But if you can just take the time off and relaxe your body will luv ya heh.

I went on a vacation for 7 weeks, so I had to do something. This is basically what I did, and I didn't really lose any strength by the time I came back. 3-4 days a week I jogged. As well, 3-4 days a week I did pushups, squats, ab exercises, and a few different exercises with some 15 pound dumbells I lugged in a backpack.

I once had to go on a surprise vacation just a week after I took a week off from training. So I had no choice to workout....I found a bunch of little 10&15lb DB's and just tied em together heh. I did all my lifts by either holding all the little dumbells or using heavier things in the area that I could find followed by cardio and some sports. I lost no strength but I didn't gai any either.

    in my opinion, no.

it's a vacation you should enjoy yourself and forget about all of that, just eat and have fun.

I usually continue my suppliments if I can..but if its to much of a hassel and a pain in the ass don't worry about it. Just take a break and enjoy yourself!!

Here is the workout routine I would suggest:

    Day 1:
    8 x 12oz Beers
    1 x 38DD Blonde

    Day 2:
    10 x 8oz Margaritas
    2 Bronze Beauties Until Failure

    Rest

    Repeat
