This isn't really a new problem for me, but for some reason today it took over my workout, i couldn't stop thinking about it and trying to fix it, so I thought i'd ask for some advice...
I know it's common that most people are stronger on their dominant side, in my case, the right. I feel like I've done a pretty good job evening out, except on my chest.
It's hard to describe what I've been doing when I bench, it' almost a "hitch" in my rep. My left shoulder blade will come up off the bench a tad, and it almost seems like my shoulder rotates. The angle in which my right arm/chest is pushing the weight up with, doesn't feel right for my left and it is just naturally slightly different. As I said before, this has always kinda been around, and I just always thought it would get better. Obviously I'm not trying to do this, it just happens, and trust me, I battle with it.
I have a feeling that I'm going to get a lot of "drop the weight, and get the form down, and then move back up", which is probably good advice, but I'm honestly not doing that much weight to begin with.
Anyone else had any form problems silmilar to this? Any advice? I'm VERY open to suggestions. Thanks
