    fat for energy?

So if ur on low-carb while working out...if ur lifting weights while doing low-carb, your body wont have carbs to burn for energy. So will ur body resort to burning fat for energy even during weight lifting??? And would u suggest going to a gym 5 days a week and giving ur different muscles a weeks' rest, or going every other day and doing cardio the other days, therefore meaning ur giving each muscle about an 8 or 9 day rest??

Fat gets converted to ATP for energy on ketosis style diets, although it is not that uncommon to see people still using a small amount of carbs (25ish) pre/post workout to fill liver glycogen stores.

Unless you are pretty fat I would suggest low carb, not hardcore no carbs, but thats JMO.

i'd recommend 4-5 training days a week. you need to give your body a rest, and hit every muscle group once a week. where to include your off days is up to you. if incorporating cardio, i will do cardio in the morning, and then lift at night.
