Red face Pulled groin - how much cardiovascular adn/or muscle will I lose???

I found out today that I somehow managed to pull my groin. My PT has forbidden me to run/bike and lift weights with my lower body for 4 weeks.

I've been lifting heavy weights and running 5 miles a day in preparation for a marathon.

I'd like to find out - how much damage am I going to do over the next four weeks ): I plan on swimming and lifting w/ upper body but I'm so afraid my C/V is going to decrease? Man oh man oh man . . . .

That's the best you can do. Swimming is an excellent CV exercise. You could also use the speed bag or hit a punching bag for a little bit of upper body CV work.

The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
