    speed lifts

    what sort of results come from speed lifts as composed 2 power lifts??

    They increase the capacity of you CNS and muscle fibers to contract at a faster rate. If you want to increase a pitchers fastball, you must do "overspeed" exercises so the muscles will contract more quickly. You also need to work the exact same exercise for strength so the "fast contracting muscles" will be stronger as well. If you only strengthen the muscle, you most likely will slow it down.
