    Help me BRUTALISE my abs!

I seek pain, and growth. Please, share with me the nastiest, most effective ab exercises you know, the ones that make you walk funny for days afterwards.

My abs are a great disappointment to me. Even with good diet, with standard ab routines it's all "nothing to see here, move on." Strong enough, but no definition at all.

Lately, however, I've added in weighted standing cable crunches, weighted decline crunches, and hanging leg raises, and lo! under the remaining flab, I can actually see the beginnings of two (as JLB says) "chiclets" in the upper abs.

The other day, I tried a (modified for wimpiness! gorblimey!) version of dragon flags. Now that certainly woke things up... There must be more like this.

By the by, I have no access to ab machines, so old-fashioned free- or bodyweight torture methods would be appreciated.

    thank you all.

Pick 4 of your favorite ab exercise and do them in a circut with no rest inbetween sets straight for 25min.
