Elbow pain

I have started experiencing pain in my right elbow when doing skull crushers and barbell pullovers. Can someone offer a remedy or any advice?

Thanks,
Mervin

Check your form (or better yet, get someone else to check your form). Usually when this happens to me, it is because I have gotten carried away increasing my weights in increments, and I am lifting just a tad too heavy and compensating with sloppy joint angles.

Dropping the weight a fair bit, doing more reps very strictly, and getting chummy with the mirror for a while help get me back on track (I train alone at home, so don't usually have the "spotter" option. When available, though, an experienced outside eye is better and faster.)

I experience a similar pain in my left elbow. I warm up with a couple of sets of DB presses with approx 50% of the weight for 12 reps. I still will have some pain in the first set of skull crushers. However the pain is not nearly as bad and none is noticed on the second set. I agree with Akateros, that heavier weight tends to increase the amount of pain I experience as well. Try warming up a bit and see if it helps.
