upper body work out

what up all. looking for a good upper body work out routine. I'm 20 years old, 6'3, and weigh 205. I run a mile a day on a treadmill and decided its time to get back in shape. i have a dumb bell set with 5 and 3 pound weights. any recomendations of what to do to deelope a good uppper body? looking at mostly abs and pecs but an all around work out would be good too. thanks

sorry but your not gonna get too far with 3 and 5 lbs dumbells, the only things you could manage w/o access to a gym or heavier weights are dip, pushups, pullups, and chins

You definitely need some heavier weights if you are planning on adding muscle mass. Look into getting an olympic bench press with 300lbs of weights, olympic dumbells, and a pullup bar. That is basically what my home gym consists of, and I have made some pretty substantial gains. All of my equipment totalled about $250. Worth every penny!

its actually for 5 pound weights and 4 3 pound weights that you screw onto a dumbell bar if that makes a difference. the bar is 1 pound and then whateer you put for weights on it

regardless, condor, you need more weight, or else you wont get anywhere. either get a home gym as cowpimp explained or get a gym membership. the excercises we will give you to do will require the heavier weights.

cutting sucks.
