Post Wrist injury

Hurt my wrist lifting but it's weird. I reversed my grip on the T-bar and even though it didn't hurt at the time later that day my wrist below my thumb started hurting. I iced it down several times over the weekend and now the pain is mostly in my hand. When I turn my wrist and pull with my fingers(like opening a door) it just kills me. I even lifted this morning( all push, not pull) I am taking the day off and will see how it is then.

You may have pulled something or pinched a nerve. The best thing to do would be to take it easy for a little while and then head back and see if it is still bothering you. If it is, lay off for a little longer. The last thing you want to do is keep working it when it is injured. This will only make it worse. If the pain continues after you have taken a while off, go see the Doc.

You could be experiencing tendonitis. I recently have just recovered from this in my left wrist.

I did go to the doctor and they put my wrist in a splint and just take anti-inflammatories and don't lift. I did this and kept my diet clean throughout and went back into the gym with renewed vigour and motivation

I am hopeing this will get better without a break but probably won't. I have had tendonidous before and this isn't it. The pain has shifted now more to the pinky side of my hand. Feels like I tried to do one of those Bruce Lee things and break blocks with my hands. No pain in my wrist at all, it's all in my hand now. But, today I did squats figuring that wouldn't hurt, WRONG Just the weight of the bar in my hand was a killer.
