Question Need help with a routine

Hi, I'm new to the site. I havn't lifted wts in about 10 yrs. When I was lifting I had a 3 day on, 1 day off routine; 2 body parts each day. Now I would like to get into shape again. I'm 33 yrs old and about 185 lbs, about 6ft 1in. Just recently lost 13 lbs from stress and family problems, but I'm back on track. I would like to tone up and put some mass on; I'm not training to look like a body builder just tone up and put the wt back on a some mass. Going on a cruise with the girlfriend in March 05 so I would like to look good if possible. Enough gabbing, should I start with a easy routine for a few months? Mon, Wed, Fri full body routine? Stopping in on acouple of gyms they suggested a split like I have done in the past. Is this a good starter routine, day 1 chest/triceps, day 2 back/biceps, day 3 off, day 4 shoulders, day 5 legs, then 2 days off and then start all over again. Should there be a day off in between each day? I plan on joining a gym here shortly. I also started to drink a GNC whey protein shake twice a day and eating tuna, turkey, ect.. Staying away from the fatty foods. Should I be drinking a mass builder shake instead of a whey protein shake? Any help would be great. Thanks Paul

your diet sounds fine, if you want abit more bulk take a look at your cal intake per day and if say you are having 2000 add an extra 500 keep doing that then when you stop putting mass on add an extra 250 an so on. it will probley take about 3 weeks before you notice anything anyway. So keep at it
