Strength - Any farmers in the house?

I was wondering if anyone knew a way to get a hold of a used 500lb tractor tire for tire flips. I have a place to keep it and to flip it, but no idea where to find one cheap. Figured it was worth a try.

dude 500lbs i s a tough flip. There is a lot of technique in that. you should get a smaller one. I'll ask my buddy that trains with this stuff. he uses the 500lb tires, the atlas stones and man hole covers!

I want to hit a strongman seminar up in Boston to learn the technique. From what I've read, tires should be a "minimum" of 500lbs.

I'll ask. the technique is important. he said the first time he did it he did 2 reps and that was it. He slowly built it up and by the end of the summer he was flipping it 20 times in a row!!

Can always count on PreMier to be a smart ass. I'll post some pics of a 5 foot chick from Boston flippin tires. Gotta track them down first

the tire is probably 5 bills.

Var may be able to flip it onces or twice. like i said it is all technique. you have to get your body into it, drive with your hips and get under it. after that momentum will help flip it.

Check out this article. These are the guys I met at my ISSA seminar. They run a strongman gym outside Boston. Bad ass! Not sure if this is the article where they talk about the girl.

I bet that tire next to Maruisz is 900Lbs.
