Deadlift Question
When doing very heavy deadlifts, with a goal of 3-6 reps per set, is it normal to have the bar brush against the shins so that the shins are mildly red?
Or is it just bad form? I've made a point to keep my back straight and head up, but am I missing a piece? Thanks. Conrad |

Some people scrape their legs yep. If you move too far away from the legs you wont be able to pull as much as the back does more work.

Thanks guys. I haven't done it to the point where it hurts, but I figured that when I get up to much heavier weights it might. Not that that would stop me, but I was worried that I wasn't using proper form.
