Am I jogging too much?
I am training for a race coming up. It is 10 miles. I am jogging every day. I heard that long jogging every day can be bad, but it seems to have good results. Should I do less jogging and more sprints?

You do need to take a day or two off here and there, to give your body and cns a chance to recover. You should also alternate distance with speed runs.
Get a copy of Galloway's Book On Running by Jeff Galloway. He has training plans for races from 5K to marathon. |

I would take one day off per week. You should be fine as long as you don't do 10 mile runs every day. A friend of mine was training for a marathon and used a schedule similar to this:
Monday: 4 miles Tuesday: 6 miles Wednesday: 8 miles Thursday: Off Friday: 5 miles Saturday: 7 miles Sunday: 9 miles Those numbers progressed higher as time went on. He was doing a 10K I believe.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...
