Im begining to think the best way to not stall out is to keep things varied. Odds are likely I wont do 100 reps. But I do switch from the 12-15 rep range too the 3-6 rep range around every two weeks to keep the ol CNS guessing.

i recently switched from 8-12 reps to 4-6 reps to failure, with the according rise in weight lifted, and find that i cannot work out as often. i used to be able to go hard for 2 days in a row before taking the 3rd day off. now, i need a day off inbetween my workouts cause the burn is so much more intense, i got shitty workouts when i tried to work through it.

any suggestions as to why this is and what i can do about it. i know the higher the weight/lower reps the better the burn, but i didnt think it would make this much of a difference. i love training with the added intensity, but i dont like only working out every other day.
