Overtraining & Recovery
I changed my routine by dropping Back/Bi and Chest/Tri to just Back/Chest and dedicating one day to arms. This means I was hitting my Bis and Tris twice per week. I was able to add 7/10 or an ince on my upper arms in 6 weeks.
Then I developed sharp achey-like pains deep within my biceps. In bed in the morning they ache periodically. I assume this is overtraining. It's been going on for 6 days. When I flex the biceps are still sensitive. Doing Chest/Back on the same day isn't the most optimal, but I was trying to hit the arms more directly, as they are my weak point. Should I just wait a couple more days? Is this type of pain normal for overtraining? Thanks in advance from someone trying to learn as much as possible.
