its a challenge just to get them in the weight room..
There seems to be a unwriten rule that aerobics are for girls and wieghts are for boys..
If a girl wants a nice, tight, round butt she must use resistence training...squats, lunges, step ups, deep leg presses, and stiff deadlifts...aerobics and Jane Fonda videos aint enough!

Well technically, you can't 'shape' a muscle. Getting a rounder, tighter ass is simply building muscle. Your genetics have predetermined what shape of muscle you will have, but it's up to you to work at it, and maximize your potential.
To get that 'rounder', 'tighter' ass, do what the others have suggested; squats, leg press, stiff leg deads, lunges etc.

This is what I recommend to my clients for adding size and shape:
Hyperextensions (This is for the lower back and will help to lift the glutes)
Deep squats (This will add fullness and roundness to the glutes. The deeper you go, the more the glutes are used.)
Stiff leg deadlifts (This also targets the lower back and glutes, but mostly the hamstrings. It also develops the tie-ins between the glutes and the hams giving them seperation.)
I did not include any sets/reps since this depends on what phase you are at in you're cycle. Just to iterate, this is for adding size. I recommend additional moves for definition.
