    The one thing I wonder about is if my calves will really grow from 4 to 6 reps.

    Yeah, thanks man! I stumbled upon it already. I think a revival is due though, cuz it seems like a no-BS approach.

    truly seems like a no bs plan to me ...i will give it a go ... these days i am in one of my experimenting mood swings ... have been trying different things every week

    I tried this workout and got pretty good results at first but as the training went on I found that the author contradicted himself,i.e. never do dumbell kickbacks, they're a waste of time, then in I think week 5 or 6 maybe 7 there they were in the workout.
    I will say this about MAX-OT....The part about warming up correctly is an invaluable tool. I didn't realize how much muscle energy I was using up in my warm ups. Warming up the MAX-OT way definetly had an impact on the "working" weights I could move.

    I since have found the P/RR/S workout to be far exceptional to the MAX-OT. The principles are close but you get that overall feeling of not ignoring your bulking or your cutting exercises.
