Well with bulking you will undoubtely gain some fat but most of your gains are justifiable as muscle, and if it's true great job!
Just keep eating man and keep hitting the gym, then come springtime do some cutting and you'll be HUGE.
I have recently lost weight and got down to my ideal weight. So about seven weeks ago I joined the gym and have been training hard.
Over the past couple of weeks my weight has started to creep up again. Last week I put on four pounds and this week another pound.
So my question is this weight gain to do with muscle gain or after only seven weeks is it too soon? Is this sort of increase too much weight just to be muscle? Or is it the high protein diet that I have been following making me fat? Or am I just eating too much?
I am a 27 year old male, 5’11 tall, 154 pounds, and have been eating 2500 calories/170g of protein a day.
Thanks for your help.

I don't train hard, eat right, and do the things I do for others. I do it for myself.
....did I mention the ladies too???![]()

I don't think you put on 4 pounds of muscle in a week, although I've been wrong many times.
My weight (depending on diet and water consumption) fluctuates about 4 pounds a day. I'm sure what's happening is probably a composite of water, fat, and muscle.

Water weight does come and go very quickly. If your sodium or carbs have changed then this water weight can change.
