Uneven strength
Lately I've been really pushing hard on my chest days, all with dumbell exercises. Trying to get up to my summer goal of benching my body weight. Anyways, I'm about 10 lbs from my goal. When I push really heavy weights my left arm always fails before my right. I can do 1 or sometimes even 3 more reps of heavy weight with my right hand while my left hand failed. I think if it wasn't for my uneven strength on my left I;d be benching my body weight or more by now. What would you suggest I do to bring my left up to par with my right?
Thanks ![]() |

I always notice my weaknesses as I get close to my targets ... then wonder what to do. I just started working my left a lil more for 6 months till I felt better about it. I am right handed and still feel the power in my right is stronger than my left. Just don't over train your left side trying to make your goals. You'll get there.
