    New Split, please comment.

Hi...my school is gonna restart (*sigh*) and I decide to save more time and change my current 4 day (2 on, 1 off, 2 on) split and modify it to a 3 day one instead. It goes like this...

    Monday: Back, Shoulders
    Wednesday: Legs
    Friday: Chest and Arms

Here are a few reasons why I decide to give this a try.

    1) By training Back and Chest on Monday and Friday respectively, there will be a nice 2-3 day rest period in between and it allows me to train either muscle without any soreness (training Chest while Back is sore or vice versa weakens my performance)

    2) By training Back and Delts on the same day, it allows my Traps to have sufficent growth and making sure there won't be any crossovers for it throughout the remaining week.

    3) Sufficent rest period for Delts and Chest, same goes for Back and Biceps.

    What do you think?
    Keep on going...

Tank, my routine for Friday is...

Firstly I need to confirm with Gopro regarding that 3 week cycle Chest workout (which I completed the 3rd cycle yesterday) he gave me. Depends on whether should I repeat the cycle or do a new plan. Either way, a typical Chest workout will consist of 8-9 working sets.

For my arms, I do these:

Close Grip Bench (Smith Machine): 3 x 6-8
Rope Pressdowns: 2 x 10 (if I do Dips for Chest, I'll put this aside)
    Dumbell Curl: 3 x 8-10
    Hammer Curl (sometimes concentration style): 2 x 6, 1 x 12

Overall Friday's routine should exceed 15 sets, but below 20.

    How is it?

Sorry to bring this back up, but I was wondering whether will this split be better if I switch Monday with Friday, making it this instead.

    Mon: Chest, Tris and Bis
    Wed: Legs
    Friday: Back, Delts

Do you think this will be more productive? It looks better to me, what about you?
