    Pec-Dec

Can anyone tell me difference between two of the ways to use the Pec-dec?

I used to use it the standard way with my elbows/forearms flush with the pads and my hands pointing up to the ceiling on the handgrips, since it strained my neck I've adopted the method of having my elbows pointed out at right angles to my body with my hands on the pads using the fly-type method.

Am I missing out on working parts of my chest?

    Cheers

This is why I prefer cable flys instead of the pec dec. More freedom as to the natural flow of your body line.
