I don't recommend any cardio while bulking. If your gonna bulk then bulk. The only way I would do cardio while bulking is to make sure that I've gained at least 1 or 2 pounds during the week before I did any type of cardio. This way you can ensure that your not losing any weight.

Skyliner- Training your abs a lot is not going to help you avoid a pot belly. Your diet and BF% will determine that.

I know. By doing alot of Ab Workout everyday will just tighten and harden your Abs, but you need a good diet in order to remove that layer of fat. Sorry for not putting it detaily earlier.

Sorry Skyliner, but why in the world do you need to train your abs everyday?

Your abs need rest also. 2 times a week would suffice. Abs will be stimulated, in squats, deads, chins, rows amongst other movements

I would drop the cardio totally while bulking because it will hinder your gains if you don't. Just watch your carb and fat intake and up your protein.

It depends why you are doing it.

Are you trying to keep body fat down/lose bodyfat while bulking by doing cardio? If so then get rid of it, it won't work.

Are you trying to keep your heart healthy? Then do it, just keep it to 1-3 times a week for 20-30 minutes.

Some old ass bodybuilder did abs six days per week and some say he had the best six pack ever. Don't recall his name though.

Ouch, training Abs 6 times a week is sucha overkill. Personally I only train them 3 times weekly, on Monday, Wendesday, and Friday. I day rest inj between should be enough for Abs.

That's what I did too in the past, which is Cardio once per week in bulking session. However, that's only because I wanna have maximum results for my Ab workout.

Like BlueDevil, I'll advise you to just totally ignore doing Cardio if you wanna gain mass. Just do more Ab training if you're afraid of seeing a belly pot. In the beginning you'll find it kind wierd that there's no more Cardio, but you'll get the hang eventually.

Oh No

If you're going to bulk, drop the cardio. Abs can be done 2-3 times per week.
