    Question Pain in my side?

Sometimes when i'm running or jogging i get a pain in my side...it doesnt hurt .. but it is annoying. The pain is located 2 inches in, from the bottom of my hip bone. And I was wondering if it was there for any reason. Like maybe i'm not eating the right foods or what ever...

I used to get a pain in between my ribs on my left side when running. Do you mean down from your ribs. I'd get it after about 4 minutes and thought it was a heart problem but the docs said it was some sort of swelling to the muscles in between and in front of my ribs, plenty of stretching beforehand reduces the problem for me.

It could be indigestion for you though...........burping might help.

But a pain that doesn't hurt, I wish I could get me some of those when I injure myself.

Find a treadmill and work till you hit that pain and log the data. Log and track the times and distances covered over a two week period. You will see those times and distances increase.

It hurts to get healthy ... but ya gotta love it when you can feel the differance in the way your body acts and looks. I am 44, my son is 17 and I love that I can get it on with him at track, football, paintball, moto-cross or anything else and will be able too well into my 50's.

How old are you? Do you hydrate enough? Are you wearing the right footwear? Are you dragging around an extra 100 pounds of body fat? Are you exceding your limits too soon? More info about you would get more info from other members.
