I think for a women I´m naturally fairly muscular. As a teenager my bro was always saying that he wished he had my arms and thighs. I´ve been doing weights and aerobic training for just 8 months and so would appreciate a bit of advice.
I don´t want my quads to get any bigger as they really are big compared to the rest of me. I´m working my upper body to try and get the proportions better and this has helped some. I´ve read articles that toning muscles is a myth. I´m running 3 times a week and twice a week I do an hour on the bike or elyptical. I do weights 3 times a week with a 24hr rest period.
Basically, what do you guys do for maintenance when you´ve reached the size you want. Should I just do more reps?

I guess most you guys want to get pretty big and so this wouldn´t be an issue for you. But, if you want to balance out your muscle size, what do you do?
Do you not work those muscles that are bigger in proportion to those that need more work or do you work on definition or is there something else?
