why would you want to workout with no energy? you will accomplish less and without protein and carbs in your system you are likely to lose lbm.
Isn't it better to work out after you are fatigue, because I went to the gym after I had just finished playing a football game, which we won30-0, and my and my arms got tense alot faster than then they usually when I work out without being tired.

not if increasing LBM and increasing strength is your main concern...Originally Posted by Thrift

Actually the best time to workout is just after an all nite bender. Right before the hangover sets in.

The reason I didn't play football this year was because people said I wouldn't have enough energy to lift after practice ended. With that being said, I think I will be playing football next year and will lift after practice.
Something like this:
Practice
Meal
Workout
Meal
imo ... it would be better to workout in the morning then do football at night. that leaves your body a small amount of recovery time in between.![]()

Waking up at four doesn't seem like something I'd want to do..Originally Posted by bulletproof1
you should really try and seperate football practice and lifting by as much time as possible. Or you can even try to write out a split that will have you lifting on days you don't practice or something along those lines.

well then i might suggest for you to tone down your training and if you're serious about football to get away from traiditional bb'ing training and get more into strength/power stuff. I'm not really the guy to be giving out advice about it, as my understanding of training for specific sports is mediocre at best...you could try asking P-funk and/or Saturday Fever as they will be able to help infinitely more than me.
