How do you all survive after leg day? I did it, and I couldn't play basketball or do much cardio or walk for that much. And when it finally went away...it was the 6 days later.....and next day was leg day again!!!!

There could be a number of reasons why you are so sore. You might have over did legs, your muscle recovery time might be longer than others, your diet could very easily have something to do with it, your sleeping habits play a role in how fast you recover.

There are a few things you can do. Try to implement a stretching routine on a daily basis. Warmth will also help relieve soreness because it relaxes the muscles so it doesn't matter if it's showers, baths, sauna, pool, whateve just as long as it's warm on the muscles. Massage will also help relieve any soreness. Good luck!

6 days is a long time to be sore. I would say you should ease up a bit. 3 days of soreness is about right.

6 days does seem to be a long time, hows your diet? and are you getting enough rest?

If you haven't been working legs to long, then its probably just normal and as you do them more often, your recovery time will drop down. If you've been doing them for some time and still take 6 days to recover, you need to find the problem.

Just another day in the gutter
