Assuming you're not in chronic pain it's okay to train a sore muscle group with high intensity.

I recently caught myself assuming again. If I've a body part/group of muscles that still ache from the last workout, should I skip that session (or go lighter) to so that the muscle can fully heal or should I just keep working out?
Currently, I just workout with the pain. No, it's not a joint or such, it's simply the pain of mucles that have been properly damaged. I workout twice a day (5:30 AM and 8:30 PM) six days a week.
Thanks for any advice!

Unless you're juicing i wouldn't really recommend working out 2x/day six days a week.Originally Posted by cfs3

agreed. I train 5x's a week, each muscle once a week, but on some days I go intense and others I don't. I make sure I'm completely healed before targeting or isolating the same muscle again.Originally Posted by Yanick
you might be able to make it work, however i doubt the poster knows how to tweak the various variables to do so (btw, i realize i'm assuming he's a noob, but that is sort of a noob question and the routine sounds like one from Arnold's Encyclopedia of BB'ing). And if i'm wrong i apologize.

Yes, that's where I got it from. So, perhaps, it's time to town down on the number of session per week.

I'd suggest searching journals on here and adopting a routine from there.
