why would you take a break while on?
I'd like your feelings on this. I've been training for 4 months continously 4-5 days a week. this week I would like to kinda take a break. I did the following routine today and had plans doing the same thing Wed and Friday. I'm on gear and this three day is all compound movements. Do i need any arm work here.
All heavy Weight with exception of 2 sets of light weight warm ups on each
Bench Press 5 x 3
Military press 5 x 3
Deadlifts 5 x 2
Squats 5 x 2
why would you take a break while on?
"The greatest obstacle to knowledge is not ignorance but the illusion of knowledge." -Barry Marshall, Nobel Laureate
Is the break for physical reasons or mental reasons TOM?
Bonecrusher a little of both. Having a hard time sleeping. feel exhausted all the time. I did relax the whole weekend. I did do the above routine this morning and now 3 hrs later and i feel great. So now i not sure what to do. do wed and fri what i did today, take off the rest of the week or do some small sets wed and fri.
I get the same thing, what I do if I am not scheduled for time off I'll sleep the weekend thru. By then my batteries are charged.
TOM please do not loose your momentum or motivation.
You're on the juice to help force your body to change ... and you are just getting to the point where the gear is gonna make it self seen. Don't bail now. The change is gonna be suttle, but you will see it. You have a long range goal big guy ... keep that goal in fucus.
