patience and discipline

I'm a computer consultant by trade. Among the many tasks that I do, I advise people/companies on how to improve their work-life by leveraging computers. I advise them on options that they are often not aware of and don't know enough to even ask about it.
Then I got to thinking; I'm in the same position in regards to bodybuilding. Perhaps there are things that I need to know but don't know enough to ask.
So here it is: as an experienced bodybuilding what one or two pieces of information do you think are crucial to being a good bodybuilding?
Thanks for any knowledge!
So many cries of inequality stem from one of group
of people doing little or nothing and then bitching
about another group that actually does something
to improve their lives.
patience and discipline
pushing beyond the work capacity, and working heavy as possible. No fake pose lifting. fake pose lifting-(lifting 5lb dumbells and making it look as if your lifting a ton)
I would have to say there are three ways of going with bodybuilding
Good nutrition (high protein) Edequate sleep Train heavy in your rep range

consistency...
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.
