I know alot of ppl do cardio right after weights. What if you lift early and then do cardio at night? is this common?

i can't see how that would increase fat burning, but there is really nothing wrong with seperating cardio and lifting.

Reverse em, do cardio early in the morning and lift later on.

You will burn more calories, but it certainly isn't optimal. Jogging at any time is better than not at all. Do it at night if you don't have time in the morning. However, directly after a workout or first thing in the AM is the best time.

Also, Deadbolt, why would he want to reverse the order of them? I believe lifting early is much better than later because then you get several meals into you while your body needs them most. I see no point in doing that. Weight training keeps your metabolism elevated for a while too.
The only time it's bad to feel the burn is when you're peeing...

aren't you carb cycling right now ? if so you are asking to burn a lot of muscle by doing all of this exercise while there is a severe caloric deficit on top of a lack of carbohydrates...
I train differently than most, my beef is with gravity the weights on the bar are just the medium...Thanks to Wall Street your slice of the American Pie has been reduced to a crumb.

I meant do cardo first thing then later in the day do your weights if you want to seperate your cardio and weight training. I didn't mean do cardio early then lift right before you go to bed. I agree that its better to lift earlier in the day so you can put more meals in you.
