Six Pack?

I need someone to help me. I'm 5 foot 7 and 1/2. I weigh around 115 pounds, and I am looking to get a six pack. I need some help with this.

The first place to look is your diet. Post it and I'm sure someone can point you in the right direction

at your height and weight you need to gain some mass. you probably don't have enough abdominal mass even if your body fat was lower...

In the training department, I would look for heavily compound exercises that require you to stabilize your body with your abdomen and lower back: squats, deadlifts, bench press, bent rows, etc. As well, I would throw in a few sets of direct weighted ab work.

However, you should still make your way over to the diet and nutrition forum. Diet is more important than training when it comes to just about any goals one might have. Pure strength training is different, but diet can still aid in that department.

First, gain some good weight. Eat a crapload of clean foods. 5'7 1/2" @ 115 lbs.?
Holy crap! I'm 140 lbs, 5'5 1/2" - 5'6", which isn't too much. Do weighted decline crunches, leg lifts, etc. Get your diet in check. It's about 80% diet and 20% exercise.

If your abs are really weak, I would do some direct work on them for a while before you start doing heavy compounds like squats and deads

I disagree. Just start with light weights when doing squats, deads, or any exercise that you have never done for that matter.

Gees I'm 176lbs @ 5'6" and I'm still to damn small lol.

Yea buddy just eat the foods and grow them muskles! Worry about a six pack later, just add some mass then focus on cutting up. Diet is definatly important so head your way over there for some good info.

I agree with this statement. It takes time to get major compound lifts down so by starting soon you build up the proper confidence and knowledge of the lift and once you start developing your core and actual muscle the lifts will just grow.

If he's going light, sure.
However, going light is easier said than done....especially if you fairly new to the game.

If this is the case, he'll fold right over and risk serious injury.
